Zlatan Porat

The dessert wine is made of variety Crljenak katelanski. It
contains 15% of alcohol and 90 grams of unfermented sugar. It is
best when served with pastry and sweets. It is very popular in
Croatia and was awarded a gold medal at gast 2009.
About this producer
The family horticulturist company Vitis was founded in early 1986. Later on, in 1993, the company changed its name to Zlatan Otok (Golden Island). Their vineyards are located in the southern area of the Hvar Island, where Plavac mali is the predominant variety but there is also the ancient Crljenak katelanski – the Zinfandel's ancestor. They have an annual production of about 500 000 bottles of all wine.
